Founder's Message

Ladli Foundation was born from the lived experience of our founder, Devendra Kumar, who overcame abandonment, child labour, and violence in Delhi’s slums. His journey from survival to service led to the creation of our organization in 2010, dedicated to empowering vulnerable communities. We have mobilized 116,000 youth volunteers, impacted 2.7 million lives, and delivered digital education to 257,000 students. Our gender sensitization campaign, Run for Laadli, earned national and global acclaim. Recognized by the UN and Indian leaders, Devendra’s leadership drives our mission—bridging grassroots realities with global advocacy for health, education, and gender equality.
